Irene
Jones
has been a resident of the
Fraser Valley
for most of her life. She was born in Chilliwack and
attended grade school in Yarrow and Sardis Senior
Secondary. Irene was raised on a hobby farm
in Yarrow.
In 1979 Irene Jones
moved with her husband and family and set up residence
in Kamloops. Irene worked for BC Gas as a meter
reader for several years. She then moved back to the
Fraser Valley,
this time to Abbotsford in 1991.
Her
interests include: Camping, Fishing, ATVing and
Travelling with nine grandchildren and she somehow found time to be a
competitive award winning racer in the Super Street race
car category where she raced primarily at Mission
Raceways and Ashcroft race track.
Irene
Jones worked for MSA Society for Community Living in
1992 and 1993 while she was studying for her Real Estate
license. She started her Real Estate
career with Royal LePage in 1993 in Abbotsford and then
managed the Abbotsford Royal LePage satellite office in 1996 thru
1998. At that time Royal LePage made
Corporate changes closing several offices. She
then carried on her Career with Homelife Glenayre Realty
until 2006.
Since
the re-opening of Royal LePage Fraser Valley in
Abbotsford, she has now returned to Royal LePage in
Abbotsford.
Obviously, Irene Jones
is an active person with a high energy level ……………..
